CBSE 12th Results 2015: CBSE Board Cbse.nic.in & cbseresults.nic class 12th XII board exam Results 2015 date announced

The dates for announcement of CBSE 12th Results 2015 have been declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Out of this 6,07,383 were boys and 4,32,985 were girls.

CBSE XTH RESULTS WILL BE DECLARED TODAY

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE results 2015) is likely to declare Class 10th board exams result on May 21, 2015 on their official websites cbse.nic.in andcbseresults.nic.in.

According to a CBSE circular released earlier this year, a total of 13,73,853 students were appearing for the class 10 board examination and 10,40,368 students for the class 12 board examination.

CBSE in its circular also mentioned that there has been a hike of 3.37 per cent in the number of students appearing in the class 10 board examination and 1.01 per cent hike in the number of students appearing for the class 12th board examination.

Kerala Engineering/Medical Entrance Exam 2015 Results Published

The Commissionerate of Entrance Examinations (CEE) has declared the results of Kerala Engineering, Medical and Architectural entrance exam today (20 May) at 12 pm.

Kerala Education Minister PK Abdu Rabb declared the results in Thiruvananthapuram.

• 75,258 and 85,829 students are eligible for engineering and medical courses, respectively.
• P Hiba Hussain from Malappuram has secured first rank (954.78), second rank is secured by Maria Rafi from Ernakulam (944.348) and Ajish Sabu from Kollam got third rank (944.347) for Medical entrance exam. This is the second attempt of first three rank holders.
• Nirmal Krishnan from Malappuram and Lakshmi Parvathy from Kottayam have secured first ranks under SC and ST categories, respectively.

The rank list of medical exams has been announced on Wednesday, but the engineering rank list will be announced by June second week only after adding the scores of Plus Two (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry) results. However, students can check their engineering entrance exam scores on Wednesday itself. 

Paper I of Engineering exams was conducted on 20 March and Paper II on 21 March. The medical exams were conducted on 22 March and 23 March.

പകുതിയിലധികം എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് സീറ്റുകളില്‍ ആളില്ല; പുതിയ സീറ്റുകള്‍ അനുവദിക്കാനൊരുങ്ങി സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ -

തിരുവനന്തപുരം: സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ സ്വാശ്രയ എന്‍ജിനീയറിംഗ് സീറ്റുകളില്‍ പകുതിയിലധികം ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുമ്പോഴും പുതിയ സീറ്റുകള്‍ അനുവദിക്കാന്‍ ഒരുങ്ങുകയാണ് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍.മെറിറ്റ് സീറ്റുകള്‍ പോലും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്‌പോള്‍ കൂടുതല്‍ സീറ്റ് അനുവദിക്കുന്നത് കച്ചവടം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടെന്നാണ് ആക്ഷേപം.

2009 മുതല്‍ 2014 വരെയുള്ള കണക്കനുസരിച്ച് സ്വശ്രയ സ്ഥാപനങ്ങളില്‍ ഒഴിഞ്ഞു കിടക്കുന്ന സീറ്റുകളുടെ എണ്ണത്തില്‍ ക്രമാനുഗതമായ വര്‍ദ്ധനയാണ് രേഖപ്പെടുത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. 2009ല്‍ സ്വാശ്രയ കോളേജുകള്‍ക്കനുവദിച്ച മെറിറ്റ് സീറ്റുകളുടെ എണ്ണം 9594 ആണ്. ഇതില്‍ ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടന്നത് 39 എണ്ണം മാത്രമായിരുന്നു. 2010 കൂടുതല്‍ കോളേജുകളിലായി ആകെ 11740 സീറ്റ് അനുവദിച്ചു. ഒഴിവ് വന്നത് 781 സീറ്റുകള്‍. 2011ല്‍ 3977 സീറ്റിലും 2012 ല്‍ 7262 സീറ്റിലും പഠിക്കാന്‍ വിദ്യാര്‍ഥികളെത്തിയില്ല.

2014 ആയപ്പോള്‍ ഒഴിവു വന്ന സീറ്റുകളുടെ എണ്ണം 11448 ആയി ഉയര്‍ന്നു. അതായത് 2010ലെ ആകെ സീറ്റുകളുടെ എണ്ണത്തേക്കാള്‍ സീറ്റുകള്‍ 2014 ആയപ്പോഴേക്കും ഒഴിഞ്ഞുകിടക്കുന്ന അവസ്ഥ. മാനദണ്ഡമില്ലാതെ കോളേജുകളും സീറ്റുകളും അനുവദിച്ചതിനാല്‍ പഠന നിലവാവത്തിലുണ്ടായതും വലിയ തകര്‍ച്ചയെന്നാണ് വിലയിരുത്തല്‍. ഇതിനെല്ലാം പുറമെയാണ് പുതിയ സീറ്റുകള്‍ അനുവദിക്കാനുള്ള തിരക്കിട്ട നീക്കം. -

CBSE  CLASS X RESULTS WILL BE DECLARED ON MAY 21ST

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to announce the Class X Board Results 2015 on May 21..Earlier, it was expected that Class X CBSE Board Results 2015 could be announced either on May 19 or 20 .According to a data provided by the CBSE, a total of 13,73,853 students appeared for the class 10 CBSE board examination this year, a 3.37 per cent hike than last year. While 8,17,941 boys appeared for the exam; 5,55,912 girls sat for the exam this year.The results for all regions will be declared on the websites of the board. CBSE STUDRNTS MORE IN IIT'S

According to education experts, the reasons why more CBSE students get admitted to IITs are:

1. The CBSE has a numerical advantage as more students appear in the Class 12th board exam than any other board. In 2012-2013 over 6.99 lakhs students appeared for the class XII CBSE examination.

2. It enjoys a geographical advantage as the numbers of schools affiliated to CBSE board are more in metro and major cities of the country. 

3. These cities have better IIT coaching facilities and many of these coaching centres start training students from an early age. 

4. The course syllabus also contributes to the success of CBSE students in joining the IITs. The syllabus, although marginally similar to IIT examination, lays a sound foundation for facing the IIT entrance examination. 

5. The other reason which contributes to high CBSE success rate is its course structure - It's based more on reasoning and analytical abilities than memorizing the facts

IIT KHARAGPUR HIGH PLACEMENT OFFERS

IIT-Kharagpur students offered 20% increase in salaries this year

IIT Kharagpur students are being flooded with pre-placement offers with a 20 per cent increase this year.

IIT officials said already around 125 students have been extended pre-placement offers and interviews, where most of the companies have increased the package offered by around 20 per cent as compared to the last batchThe highest offer made till date stands at a staggering Rs 91 lakh, they said.

International offers include those from Google Mountain View, Facebook, Works Application and Schlumberger while a large number of first time recruiters have also registered for final placements with the Career Development Centre at IIT Kharagpur.

The final placements are set to begin on December 1 in all the IITs before which a 50 per cent increase in the number of pre-placement offer is expected.

The latest trend observed is the overwhelming participation of e-commerce firms and startups, fresh from the boom in foreign investments and large rounds of funding by venture capitalists.

"The upcoming season is certainly looking very bright for the students. The response has been absolutely overwhelming with numerous companies expressing their willingness to hire KGPians. A unique curriculum clubbed with courses in Financial Engineering and Engineering Entrepreneurship gives a lead to the students of IIT Kharagpur unlike any other institute," said Punj Rajan, Vice-president of Technology Students' Gymkhana, IIT Kharagpur.

Prof S K Barai, Chairman of Career Development Center, IIT Kharagpur, said from this year onward special focus has been laid to boost the confidence of the graduating students, corporate workshops, case study contests, alumni mentorship session, assessment tests and soft skill training.

JEE Main 2015 Important Dates

• JEE Main 2015 Application Form is available from 7th November 2014

• Last Date for Online Application will be 18th December 2014

• Date for Download of JEE Main 2015 Admit Card will be Second Week of March 2015 onwards.

• Complete important date list will be published by CBSE probably by November 2014.

• JEE Main 2015 test date will be tentatively in second week of April 2015.

• JEE Main 2015 Test Date (offline):Paper I – 4th April, 2015 (09:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.), Paper II – 4th April, 2015 (02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.)

• JEE Main 2015 Test Date (online): 10th April, 2015 (09:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m.) and 11th April, 2015 (02:00 p.m. to 05:00 p.m.)

• JEE Main 2015 Result will be announced in First Week of May 2015 (tentatively).

• Exam fee for Paper 1 (offline) is Rs. 1000 and Rs.600 for Paper I (online).
